MORNING PRAYERS

When Nora and I finished praying this morning I said "Amen" and Nora said "No Mom, Wow Wow". So we prayed for Wow Wow Wubbzy. I said another "Amen" and heard another "No Mom" this time it was followed by "TV". So we thanked God for the TV and said another "Amen". Followed by "No Mom, blocks". So we thanked God for blocks and said "Amen". Once again I heard "No Mom". This was followed by "M M's". We thanked God for M&M's and at last finished our prayer. "Amen"

THE HOLIDAYS

Well, Thanksgiving is past and Christmas is approaching and my last blog was Halloween. I guess I need to catch everyone up on what's been happening around here lately. Several months ago Del was given the opportunity for a job transfer. Not liking the commute downtown to work he took a job in a very small town and we started to look for a house. Many months later and no house or no prospect of getting a house or land anywhere close to his job he was given the opportunity to transfer again. This job was near the town where I was raised. He decided to take that job so we could be closer to my parents. We wanted Nora to be around them more and spend more time on the farm where they live. We are grateful to God for this opportunity. After about a month of looking at houses we found an older house that needs a lot of work but we liked the location and the house should be very comfortable when it's finished. We close on the house on December 19th. We'll post before and after pictures when the house is finished because we don't want to scare anyone. There is a lot to be done there but maybe in a few months we'll be ready to move in.

We took some pictures at my sisters house this weekend and I thought I would post a few. We've been so busy going back and forth between Del's new job site and our home that we haven't decorated for Christmas. We are at my parents house so much we may not decorate here.

TRICK OR TREAT

Our little witch went trick or treating on Friday night. It was her first time to trick or treat. We went to Gammer's house first so she could practise. She yelled "trick or treat" before the door opened but Gammer said she heard her from inside. When she found out that those words brought candy she decided to take advantage. Once inside Gammer's house she ate some candy and then took her pail to Gammer and said "trick or treat" again. Gammer laughed and told her how bright she is and gave her more candy. Nora added another word to her vocabulary also. It's "emm emm" (m&m).

DISNEY PRINCESS HAT

Aunt Fran was at Disney World recently. Two days ago a box came for Nora. It had a princess hat (which Nora loves), a T shirt (it says "Daddy's Little Princess") hair clips (shaped like Mickey Mouse), several elastic bands for her hair (they have Mickey Mouse on them also), a giant Mickey Mouse rice crispy treat with chocolate ears (mostly gone now), a Tinkerbell magic towel and a box of Disney Character Cookies. Nora has had the best time with these things. Today we wore all three Mickey Mouse hair clips to church. Thank you Aunt Fran. The items in the box have been a big hit.

DRINKING JUICE AND WOW WOW WUBBZY

Nora loves watching Wow Wow Wubbzy on television. She does everything they do and makes such funny faces as she watches. Wow Wow Wubbzy is her new favorite cartoon and Wubbzy is her new favorite character.

CARVING PUMPKINS

Nora picking out a pumpkin

Del's chosen design

My chosen design

Del has always enjoyed carving pumpkins but this year we did things a little different. We usually get a pumpkin while shopping somewhere. This year we went to the pumpkin patch and let Nora pick a pumpkin. She has loved looking a jack-o-lanterns everywhere we've been. She was so excited to go and buy pumpkins but was a little upset when we started to cut the pumpkins. When she saw the finished products she loved them. She is a little scared though. She wants to look but she wants someone to hold her hand when she goes near them.

SWEET PICTURES

Zachary, Nora and another little boy holding the kite string while Del gets the kite ready to fly.

A DAY AT THE BEACH

We have had another good day. Zachary and Nora have been playing and having a great time. We flew a kite and both of them took turns holding the kite string. They get along so well. I wish we could see Zachary and his mom more often. I'll have more pictures later.

RIPLEY'S AQUARIUM

We spent the morning at Ripley's Aquarium. Everyone had a great time. It is a wonderful aquarium.

Nora and Zachary are getting along beautifully. They are very much alike. I wonder if they would be so much alike if they had not spent the first year of their lives sharing the same crib? They use a lot of the same phrases and immitate each other. A lady in the hotel asked if they were siblings.

We are enjoying every minute with Rebecca and Zachary. We are talking about planning more trips together so the kids can stay in touch. I think that's a great idea.
