DNA TESTS ARE DONE!

We recieved word today that the DNA tests were done last Thursday. We now have about three weeks to wait for the results. After getting the results we should be going to visit Nora.

DNA tests

We have just learned that the DNA tests were not done on September 13th. The biological mother was unable to make the appointment. We do not know why. The test was rescheduled for September 21st.

DNA Scheduled

DNA tests will be drawn on September 13. The tests will be sent to a lab in the United States and results will probably take three to four weeks. Then the test results will have to go through the authentication process and then translation and then they go back to the US Embassy in Guatemala for approval, again. Then we go to PGN.

Family Court is Finished

We received notice today that we are out of family court. We have to wait for the DNA test results and the DNA has not yet been drawn. We will be notified as soon as a date has been scheduled to draw the DNA. As soon as the results are determined we are ready for PGN.

We have DNA authorization

Phillip notified us this morning that our DNA authorization has been approved. The DNA will be taken within one week and the results should come no more than three weeks after. We should have the DNA results by the end of September.
