NEW PICTURES AND MEDICAL UPDATE!

Nora is 11 lbs. 7 oz., 22.44" in length, and has a head circumference of 15.3".

Completed the infant and child CPR training today. This completes all of the required adoption training.

August 21, 2006

We finally received Nora's July medical report today. She weighs 10 lbs 13 oz.. Her length is 21.14" and head circumference is 14.60". She also received immunizations for tetanus, Hepatitis "B", and meningitis.

August 11, 2006

WE GOT IT!!!

Our I-171H arrived today. It's Friday so it will be in Kentucky on Monday morning. They will send it to Guatemala and it should be there on Tuesday. The DNA tests can be done soon after that.

We just received word that our immigration application was approved. We do not have the I-171H yet, and it may be several days before we get it, but when we get it to Guatemala the DNA tests can be done. Then we can wait another month for the DNA tests results. The embassy in Guatemala has already been notified by the USCIS of our approval but that isn't good enough. They need the approval in hand.
